Hello all. I recently tried uninstalling Joomla 1.5 manually since I am unable to uninstall it through Cpanel. BIG mistake. When I try to install any content management software, this is the error that I get:
Not Found The server was not able to find the document (./406.shtml) you requested. Please check the url and try again. You might also want to report this error to your web hosting provider. Can someone PLEASE help me? |

Hello Proverbs,
What is the domain name? What folder are you trying to install it to? |

Like I just advised someone you are trying to access a file that doesn't exist, proabably because when installing joomla using fantestico it will install a .htaccess file use your ftp to go to the folder root where you installed using fantestico and then remove the .htaccess

That would be a 404 error, not a 406.
